Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How long does it take? To complete any area, it takes an average of 6 months to 1 year depending upon the circumstances surrounding the hair growth.
   
2. Is it painful? There is a warming sensation in the skin at the point the current is applied. It can be more annoying than painful.
   
3. How much does it cost? My fees are based on $70.00 per hour. My lowest fee is for 5 minutes at $26.00. The average treatment time is 30 minutes at $45.00.

Additional Questions:

1. How often do you have to come for treatment? The average time is once a week. As the growth lessens, the appointments begin to space farther apart. Then it moves to calling for an appointment, then to maintenance and then you’re done!
2. How many hairs can be removed with each treatment? This depends on whether the hair is peach fuzz or coarse. Light hairs remove faster and coarse hairs take more time.

Skin Preparation and Procedures:

1. Skin is cleaned with a mild soap and rinsed with a warm towel.
2. Sterilized instruments are used and gloves are worn.
3. Aloe vera gel is used after treatment and ice is given if it is facial work.
4. With a new client, an aftercare instruction card is given.
